Helpful Information

To assist with your preparation to attend the PCPA Scientific Meeting in 2019 we have prepared some general information for your review.

Please feel free to contact the event team should you have any additional questions regarding the program or your registration.


Accommodation

The official hotel for 2019 is Sheraton on the Park. Visit the Sheraton on the Park, for a full list of hotel services.

Accommodation for PCPA Members can be booked via the registration form, subject to availability, at the rate of A$300.00pr/pn. Payment of room and incidentals are the responsibility of the attendee.

Please note that the hotel check-in time is 3:00pm and check out time is 10:00am.

Acknowledgements

On submission of the online registration forms, your registration will be acknowledged via email, and your requirements confirmed. Attendance is for PCPA Members, invited speakers and sponsors only, and PCPA reserves the right to decline registration applications. At the meeting you will receive the program, a list of delegates and any other hand-out materials.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the event organisers. For any cancellations and changes to your requests after registration closes on Friday 8 March 2019, please contact Libbi Langford at the PCPA Event Management Team.

Dress Code

For the Meeting Program neat casual wear is acceptable, although it is recommended to bring a jacket for warmth as the conference rooms can be quite cool.

For the social functions smart clothing is required. Relaxed business wear is suitable for both men and women.

Dinner on Friday evening, 5 April, will be held at the acclaimed restaurant Aria, on Circular Quay. Drinks will be held on the outside terrace from 6:30pm, with dinner in the private dining room until 10pm.

The networking function on Saturday 6 April will be held in the Conservatory Lounge Bar, at from 6pm – 8pm.

Flight Assistance

For PCPA Members requiring assistance booking flights please email our flight manager, Tamara Gray, tamara.gray@flightcentre.com.au, Team Leader at Flight Centre Forestville. Or please call Tamara on (02) 8083 1200. All fees and charges will be the responsibility of the attendee.

For interstate invited speakers – please email your flight preferences to Libbi Langford at the PCPA Event Management Team.

Meeting Access:

Each delegate at the meeting will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and for conference catering.

Travel Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the same time you register for the meeting and book your travel that you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The event organisers cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance.
